In volunteering, you are agreeing to work together to achieve the main goal of staffing a successful festival. You understand that in order for this to be achieved there are many jobs that need doing and it is not just bar work. The staffing manager will endeavour to place you in a roll that suits you best but please understand that is not always possible.
Setup and Takedown
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until 17:00 will involve building the stillage and bars with heavy lifting and general housekeeping. Sunday will be taking everything down and cleaning up.
Showtime!
When the festival is open, staff will be needed on admissions, tokens, beer and cider bars, tombola, games stand, membership and glass return. There will also be housekeeping roles including glass washing.
We need staff in position ahead of opening time to welcome customers, we also need staff about half an hour after closing to do close down, tidy round etc.
Perks
You will receive a staff t-shirt (subject to availability!), and beer tokens for each session worked. There will also be a staff party after the festival is closed on Saturday night!
