Dann and Martha at St Mars of the Desert brewery held their annual SMOD fest over 4 weekends in July and August. Their Attercliffe taproom was full to bursting with advanced bookings essential to guarantee a seat.
The beer list was excellent with the usual Smodfest, Hopenfest and Smokeyfest beers plus an excellent ‘the dream’, a collaboration with Manchester based Blackjack brewery and Lukas from Thornbridge.
Jules of Hop Hideout fame supplied the food with her Camembert Volitaire cheese and savoury plates.
A great time was had by all with branch members Paul & Bev Manning, Dan Rowe and Dave Pickersgill all enjoying the festival.
