Abbeydale Brewery

We can’t quite believe we’re already approaching the end of our 30th anniversary year! And what a year it’s been, with special releases and celebrations galore… as well as a momentous occasion which none of us could have expected at the start of the year of us opening our very own taproom! If you haven’t visited Abbeydale Beerworks yet (or indeed, if you have!), we’d absolutely love to welcome you over the festive period!

We aren’t finished with 2026 yet though and we’ve still got some tasty specials on the way before the year is out. Zappa hopped Merry and Bright (4.0%) holds tropical fruit flavours and a hint of mint, and on the other end of the spectrum we’re bringing back Irish Cream Stout in the Salvation Series (5.4%). This one was hugely popular last year with deliciously deluxe notes of vanilla and caramel. Finally, the last of the year’s Legacy Series beers will be Stormbringer (4.7%). First brewed in 2003, this was (and is to be!) a noble hopped golden ale with a spicy, fruity character and a crisp, balanced bitter finish.

And as we head into January, look out for Doctor Morton’s Duck Baffler – a 4.1% pale ale single hopped with Citra which is traditionally always our first release of the year. Emerging from our botanical print inspired series we have Snowdrop, a delicate 4.0% pale ale brewed with Cashmere and Lemondrop hops for bright notes of citrus fruits. To round things off, the latest iteration of our Indulgence dessert-y themed beers has a bit of a Scottish twist, which we’re aiming to have on bars in time for Burns Night. Our sweet and fluffy Chocolate Teacake Stout will be the perfect treat, with flavours reminiscent of biscuit, soft marshmallow and creamy chocolate.

Thank you to everyone for your support in this very special year for us – and cheers to the next one!
