Good evening
Have recently got hold of the two latest Beer Matters, one from the York Beer Festival and the current one from the Three Tuns whilst visiting our University of Sheffield maths student son.
As one who loves all local CAMRA (of which I’m a member) mags but who lives in Hertfordshire I’m wondering if I could subscribe to Beer Matters.
We visited some great pubs Saturday last and love the city, as does our son who is now starting his second year. So more visits over the next two years!
Best wishes
Richard
How old is your periodical? I am curious to know,as the title is similar to that of my father’s book ‘Logic Matters’ which was published in 1972, and I am wondering which came first.
It’s been great to see Beer Matters so prominently displayed in so many pubs this month. Well done on an excellent return issue. The review of the last 18 months is well done and reminds us what pubs have been through.

Hi! Just wondered if you sent out individual copies? I’d like one to read at home! Thankssss
Good idea – I would gladly pay £15 a year to receive copies. Would that offset some of the production costs?

Hi Mary, it started out as Parish Pump in 1975 then renamed Beer Matters in 1978 according to the article on p19 of the 400th issue.
